Snowbird Octoberfest

Matt and the kids went up to Snowbird to pick up their season passes and had fun walking around the last days of Octoberfest.

Looking cool with their hoods up.

Savannah loved looking at all the jewelry booths and kept asking for Daddy to buy her something.

Leaves, Pumpkins and Parties

I think Fall is Zach's favorite time of year. He loves to rake the leaves. He went and got the rake and raked a huge pile before we knew it.

Savannah loves to dress up. She found my old ballet costume and had to try it on have me take a picture.

I have found that painting pumkins is much easier and fun than carving. Plus I don't have to clean out the pumkin and everyone is much happier.

Painting pumkins with Dylan watching over their shoulders.

We had a great time at the Flores Halloween party. Zach and his best friend Stone dressed up as Starwars characters. Dylan is supposed to Yoda but has a hatred for anything put on his head. So he is just a Jedi.

Fall Hiking

We took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend and went for a family hike. It was absolutely beautiful. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was just the perfect temperature.

Here we are all together at the beginning of the hike. I lagged behind because I was carrying Dylan which weighs about 30 lbs. I thought I would be able to do it easily since I have started bootcamp and had to wear a 30 lb. vest for the first week while exercising.

Taking a rest.

Zach always has to be in the lead.

Posing for a picture on the bridge. Savy with her head tilted to one side is her favorite pose.

Zach and Savannah loved throwing rocks in to the water. They also found a ton of Lady bugs along the way. They were huge ones. Dylan didn't like them too much. He is terrified of bugs.

Indivisible

After church on Sunday Savannah and I were coloring. She starts asking me, "Why is Heavenly Father invisible?" So to get more information about where she was coming from I ask her about what she talked about in her Primary class. She says sharing. Then she says, "Mom, I am talking about the Pledge of Allegiance - One nation under God - INVISIBLE." I couldn't help but laugh. She comes up with the funniest things!
